Full of empty space, 2014

By taking a point, and moving it around, left and right, forward and backward, up and down, the three planes of space are created. This space serves as the scenery or the theater stage for existence being able to unfold itself. Like an empty home waiting for the furniture and for the people to inhabit it, empty space is awaiting. Already full of suspended expectations, dreams and possibilities. Every word, every thought, every feeling, every action, can fill this empty space and resonate and echo in it, and find the ground to come to life. From the Zero of beginning, (the unmanifested world), into the One that contains it All (the empty space), into Duality that creates the illusion of space and time, good and bad, light and dark. If, like Kant suggests, everything already exists ‘a priori’, then empty space is not empty, but full of potential. Full of everything that ever was, is or will be. Abounding with infinite possibilities.

Cheio de espaço vazio

Ao movimentar um ponto, para esquerda e para direita, para frente e para trás, para cima e para baixo, criam-se os três planos do espaço. Este espaço serve de palco para a existência se desdobrar. E tal como uma casa vazia à espera de mobília e de pessoas para a habitar, também o espaço vazio espera. Cheio de expectativas, de sonhos e de possibilidades em suspensão. Cada palavra, cada pensamento, cada sentimento, cada acção, pode encher este espaço vazio e nele ressoar e ecoar, e encontrar a terra para brotar. Do Zero do princípio, (o mundo por manifestar), para o Um que tudo contem (o espaço vazio), até à Dualidade que cria a illusão de espaço e tempo, de bem e mal, de luz e escuridão. Se, como Kant sugere, tudo existe já à priori, o espaço vazio não será vazio, mas cheio de potencial. Cheio de tudo que alguma vez foi, é, ou será. Pleno de possibilidades infinitas.
